Thus, why wait until your child is 3-5 years of age for their first dental visit? Contrary, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a dental consultation shortly after the eruption of the first primary tooth. Prevention is the key! By educating parents we can help them stamp out dental caries through nutritional and good oral habits.
